The UAE government has decided to extend the night curfew by 2 more hours starting tomorrow, May 20 for national disinfection drive. The new timing will be from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (local time) and local authorities have also confirmed that shopping malls and centers across the United Arab Emirates will only remain open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, following the new timing schedule for nationwide sanitization program and night curfew. However stores and pharmacies selling essentials will still continue to serve 24/7 even during the newly issued timing. People above the age of 60 years and children under the age of 12 years will prohibited from entering shopping malls and other stores. Customers should not exceed more than two hours inside any premises as declared by the officials.
