The government and health officials of South Korea have announced the reopening of schools in the country after shutting down all operations for the past five months. The government of South Korea believes they may have cleared the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak. However the return of students will be carried out in phases as announced by the Korean Ministry of Education, with high school students making their return first, which will then be followed by middle and elementary school students in the following weeks. The school authorities have ensured temperature checks before entering their premises and have made mandatory to wear masks at all times. Some schools in the country have even installed plastic isolation partitions for every desk of each student.
