Former Turkish footballer Cevher Toktaş killed his own son Kasim, when he was hospitalized for a possible COVID-19 infection

Cevher Toktaş, the Turkish footballer aged 32 has confessed killing his own five-year-old son while he was being treated for a possible COVID-19 infection, who later tested negative. Toktaş told the police that he smothered his son, Kasim, with a pillow on May 4 because he did not love him. However 11 days after he felt remorse, Toktaş turned himself to the authorities confessing the crime he committed.
