An active shooter at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station in the State of Texas has been 'neutralized' by the security forces this morning. According to the statement from the Naval Security Forces, an active shooter situation was reported around 6:15 AM (CT) on Thursday, May 21. Local law enforcement officers are on scene and FBI have also responded to the incident. The scene has been 'neutralized' and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) are on their way to the air station for further investigation.
